An idea begins with a seed of a thought, then germinates into reality, following a period of consistent nurturing. Grow the idea first in your minds eye. Play the thought often. Then feel the joy build up as you take mental hold of it. The rest is the work of the Universe.
Joyful anticipation is the motivation your heart desires. You know the feeling: school recess; summer vacation; a day at the beach; a visit from a special friend. As a grownup, the image of your joy might look different, but its source originates from the same place. Don’t keep it hidden. Let your inner child come out to play.
The world is a much lovelier place when seen through the eyes of someone who is filled with joy. Find something to be joyful about. Me – I am joyful for my college-bound children. Give thanks.
