Get this! There will never be a moment like this again, as this moment is now the past. Therefore, avoid relying on your past for a vision of the future. The present is not much help either. YOU create your future. Be bold. Think fresh.
When you have a quiet moment, what fills your brain? Is it thoughts of a great plan for your future; concern about past actions; or stories and fantasies generated by multi-media? What fills your mind, dictates your life.
In the event of a stressful situation, normal thought activity will be suspended until further notice. In the meantime, put your attention on the best possible outcome and stay out of the past. Increasing oxygen supply will also be helpful.
You are responsible for the good, the bad, and the ugly in your life. Please don’t take that to mean it’s your fault. It’s not about blame or guilt. It’s about choice, action and responsibility. When you live through responsibility, you create the future. When you live through blame, you resurrect the past. Move forward with each new moment.
Your past holds many treasures for your future, if examined objectively. Be like a scientist and look for clues that will unlock your patterns of being. Do not be attached. Let your emotion rise if it’s there, but don’t dwell too long. You will know where and when its safe to dig. Get support if necessary.
